“ I’m not sure why the bad reviews but i just had one of my best Chinese cuisine experiences at Mai Mai. Visiting from Florida where it’s very hard to find good Chinese food, I was blown away by the food I ordered. Prices are higher at 16 an entree but I thought to myself they couldn’t charge those prices and not be good in a town like Grayling. I ordered Green Bean Chicken, General Tso, Chicken fried rice, and crab rangoons. I thought each order plenty of food and everything tasted wonderful. TSO sauce was different but lovely, seemed thicker than most. Green beans were fresh and chicken was fresh not that mystery meat. A on everything. I’m sad I won’t have a place like this next to me in Florida ”
“ Absolutely love this place! Amazing food! Egg drop soup is the best here! Full of cabbage, eggs and carrots! They offer vegan and gluten free options! I always get gluten free and it tastes amazing! Great service and atmosphere! Owners are so friendly and you can tell they care about their customers! We live over 30 miles away and make the drive often to go there! One of my favorite places to eat or get take out! ”
“ This place !! Wow wasn’t expecting real Thai/Lao flavors. They don’t drown their food in sugary sauces either like all others . If you’re on here leaving bad reviews for portion or prices , keep your a at home make it yourself!!! Times have changed . Suppliers are charging twice as much than before ! Educate yourself first before bashing these mom and pops for trying to stay in business and keep their head above water !! Shame on you ! Talking about what previous owners used to plate and charge!! Yeah and Gas used to be 2.29 a gallon !!! SMDH!!!! ”

“ We were pleasantly surprised to find that this restaurant had gluten-free and vegan options. Our daughter has food allergies, which can make eating out a difficult experience for her. She wasn't with us but loves Asian food, so we ate in and ordered take out for her. The menu was extensive and includes a ton of unique drink options including Boba. We ordered crab rangoon, egg drop soup, fried rice, three entrees (two from the vegan menu), and Thai tea. Everything we ate in the restaurant was delicious, including the Thai Tea. Though the gluten-free noodles with vegan sauce did not travel well. By the time we made the 30-minute drive home, it had congealed and was not salvageable. I'm sure it would have been great in the restaurant and was not the fault of the kitchen, it seems to be the nature of the noodles. I would definitely recommend the restaurant, I just wouldn’t recommend the gluten-free noodles for takeout. ”
